Events and things
The Green Bay Academy of Wine at Syrah Restaurant is more than just your average wine tasting.
Each course will provide a fun and educational experience about the wines. We'll explore: the history of the wines; the processes used to grow and produce the wine; the influence of weather and soils; and how the wines interact with food.
Courses will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Syrah Restaurant. The cost will vary depending on wine and food. Each course will include 4-6 wine samples along with some light appetizers. All the wines that are sampled will be available for purchase from Syrah Restaurant.
Reservations are required.
March 20 ~ Only the Name's the Same $25
This course will take us around the world yet only the name will remain. Taste how the location, climate and soil can alter the wine. This course will feature the same grapes (Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Sauvingon) that are from different wine regions of the world. Syrah Restaurant will be serving some fun appetizers where "only the name's the same".
